Bah, you don't know what you're talking about, Freddy-boy.  Its easier to think with your head out of your ass; you should try that.  Yeah, you're right, though.  No bpdy gives a sh*t about Spider-Man.  That's why the Spidey books have been some of the top-selling comics in Marvel's enourmous line (Next to the X-boks, of course; I'm not denying everyone loves Wolvie).  And you can't possibly be so ignorant to think everyone shares your thoughts on Spidey being "whiney and too introspective."  Peter Parker's personal conflict and introspectivness (I doubt this is really a word) is a major factor in what appeals to most people.  Because, get this, Fred: people can relate to the character.  Its why they enjoy him so much, and its why this movie is going to make a killing in the box office.  I know its hard for you to believe that anyone can relate to a character Spidey, since you seem to only be able to relate to the cigar-chomping, short-tempered type who think they're the best and whom refuse to tell people their real age, but its the truth.  As for the effects being fake, there's an SFX test of Spidey crawling a wall on the movie's website.  Check it out, and then tell me what's fake about it (No, seriously.  There's no doubt in my mind you'll think it's fake for some obscure reason, and I'd like you to "inform" me on what it is.)

I don't understand how people seem to be able to predict if a movie's gonna suck when so far there's only been a teaser trailer and talk of production.  Did you talk to Ms. Cleo or some sh*t?  Cause really, I would love to know how to do it, so I don't have to waste money on sh*t like "The Phantom Menace" (which everyone predicted was going to be amazing, as I remember it.)
