I'd like to know how many of these "fans" of Star Wars saw it in the movie theater in 1977. Attack of the Clones may be a campy title, but all the SW movies are based on the same plot premise that most westerns and classic kung fu movies are about. Some of those have equally cheesy titles. Even the characters are pretty much formulaic.

I remember when Empire was released, I was nearly slobbering with anticipation to see it. However, after years of disappointing speculation over new episodes, Lucas lost too much face with his fans. He was expected to bring some sort of divinely inspired movie in Episode 1, but I doubt even 2 or 3 will even measure up to "fan" expectations. This whole commotion over the title is bullcrap the real issue is that people want to inflect their own ideas of what Star Wars should be on Lucas' vision.

Anyhow, this rant is through. My opinion? Go with the flow, enjoy the bloody movie or don't and stop b*tching about Jar Jar. Jawa's and Ewoks are just about as annoying, but cost less to produce.
