what do u mean mark wahlberg is pretending to be a criminal?? he went to jail so i think hes already dealt with that u idiots. besides, he rose from poverty, drugs, street hustling, and a number of minor crimes. he rose above all that and made it to success and i think we should be giving props to him for that, not dissing him out for it. cuz i'd like to see u make all the accomplishments he's made. all u people who are trying to diss tim burton out cuz u thought this movie was supposed be a re-make of the original "planet of the apes" from 1968. well newsflash...IT WAS ALL TOTALLY BURTON'S IDEA TO MAKE HIS OWN! NOT A RE-MAKE! SO U CAN ALL SHUT UR MOUTHS CUZ U DON'T KNOW THE WHOLE SCOOP! i think i heard mark wahlberg and tim burton(CLEARLY)state that its not meant to be a re-make of the original. i think i also hear estella warren say it too. i'm not sure so please do not quote me on that, but i know i heard one of them say it. and for the most part(to actually give u idiots a clue that the ending DID make sense and it WAS nessecary for the " quite anticipated sequel"),the ending made complete sense to me so all those people who are posting their sesnseless reviews all over the net saying sh*t like "oh the ending made no sense" or all the annoying sissy punk rocker kids(who don't even belong here and should just be trying to make their terrible garage band succeed)saying "dude, like i just like didn't like get the ending dude! totally!duuuuuude!!!" you all must not be very smart. i would explain the ending, but i don't wanna be an a**hole and ruin the movie for people who are going on these message boards who ahven't evne seen the movie yet! their jsut ruining it for themselves so i feel no need to make it worse and tell the ending of the movie. and i cannot wait for the sequel, this movie kicked ass and i hope it can be as good(if not even better)as the first one. this movie kicked major a** and i'm glad that i spent my last six bucks to see it.
