Omar,
"Driven" and "Miss Congeniality" will be forgotten-- Huh? What the Hell was I talking about?
The real Legends are the ones that, even though they may be nearly sixty years old they are still avidly watched and their message still rings true. These are the films that went against the grain, films that went out on a limb and did not center around getting people to buy all the nifty tie-in products rather than story and substance. These are films such as Casablanca, Psycho (Hitchcack's), The Wizard of Oz, Night of the Living Dead, The Godfather I & II (but not III, it's best forgotten), the Star Wars Trilogy (but not The Phantom Menace), and oh so many other films. But, Omar, the list does not include Driven or Miss Congeniality.
How is it that someone who knows nothing about movies spends so much spare time on a Movie webpage?
Is it so you can make yourself feel big by belittling the rest of us? Go out and start your sh*t with someone face-to-face and see how it turns out. It would be a nice lesson in humility.
And perhaps if you feel that all the good people-- and I mean that-- we're all good people who happen to have come from different backgrounds and lifestyles and have differents tastes and ways of thinking, whose views sometimes collide, and start some rather amusing debates-- But if you think so lowly of all of us, and think that DTheatre is a site for shut ins, then why do you even bother coming here?
I'd be perfectly happy never to hear from you again.
Oh, and for the record, I do not like it in the butt. Sorry, Omar.
