There is a light at the end of the tunnel for Chris Carter's well-loved show. I must agree, it is not going to be the same without David Duchovney, but have you really divulged into the acting past of his reaper, Robert Patrick? The younger generation may most well know him as a psycho, both as the T-1000 on Terminator 2 starring with Arnold S. or on the movie The Faculty as the alien possessed football coach, starring along-side Pearl Harbor pretty boy, Josh Hartnett. But it doesn't stop there. Patrick is a well-diversified and highly talented actor.
 We are (almost) all truly saddened by the loss of the heart of the show in Duchovney's leaving, but we should not sit here and bash Chris Carter or the show. It was David's choice. He was ready to move on in his life and as an actor, broaden his horizons. I say Congratulations to him for having the strength to make a move like that. We all should respect that he is an actor who cares enough about his career to know when to move on. Though, as for the show and for Carter, they're doing everything in their possible strength to keep this as interesting, beloved and intruiging as before Duchovney left. They've gone and cast several excellent actors and actresses, divulged into some intense storylines and probably spent more than they should have on PR. Let's cut them some slack here people! They're doing everything they can to keep you, the viewer, happy, and most all they're getting back is negative feedback. It wasn't their choice to lose Duchovney. Either sit with the rest of us and learn to let yourself divulge into all of the new adventures of Dogget and Scully, or cherish the fond memories as you will and move on to the rest of this coming seasons mostly-failing line-up. Hey - there is always repeats!
