You don't get it. I have no problem with people who are trying to recover from addictions, emotional problems,or any of the multitude of manifestions of the stress of daily life. But don't expect me to feel sorry for some rich little snot because "you just can't imagine the pressures of being a star!" You people  sit  around and say 'poor Matthew Perry' because he can flush his life away in a fashionable way and  when it all gets too much he can go check into Cedars-Sinai. You same 'poor Perry' people wouldn't think twice about some everyday schmuck who  has been through more than just being a "good time Charlie" and all they can afford to do is end up some homeless untouchable out on the street.
And if this guy needs another liver he'll get it because he has the money, and he'll probably turn around and destroy that one too. But some struggling father of four who has worked hard and tried to live by some code of decency; someone whose life is worth more than this spoiled little "good-time Charlie", will die because he can't afford to run out and buy a  new liver.
If he didn't have the money and fame he would just be another 'loser' sitting in jail. That's where they send your common abusers. Didn't you know that. Ask George W., he'll  tell you!
