OK, as much as we would have all liked to see Marilyn Manson as Willy Wonka, he won't be playing the role.  Johnny Depp will.  For those of you who don't understand why Marilyn Manson would have ever been considered for the role, it is obvious that you don't know very much about him, but then I am sure you don't care to.  That is just peachy with him and with the people who do understand him, because we don't care to be bothered with ignorant bottomfeeders like yourselves.  You would rather trash someone who you know nothing about because it is the socially acceptable thing to do.  However, if you do care to open you mind for a nanosecond and learn something...the significance of this role to Marilyn Manson is complicated, but it  boils down to this.  One, it's his favorite movie.  Two, he liked the way the characters were portrayed in the original movie, and he appreciated the message it gave.  Whether you know it or not, he is a highly intelligent individual and does have a genius IQ.  He is a hell of a lot smarter than any of us.  So get your panties out of a wad.  That, or go listen to some Britney Spears. Makes no difference to me, or him for that matter.  I'm pretty sure.
