Marilyn Manson To Be Willy Wonka

(Fox News)Yes, you read that right folks.  Marilyn Mason is going to be starring as Willy Wonka in the Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory remake.  And he's going to make him a truely evil character.

"I really see the movie as a metaphor. I see Willy Wonka as Satan because he presents people with the temptation of picking good and evil, and they all pick evil," Manson told London's Sun newspaper.

Tim Burton will be directing the remake, and it will be released through Warner Brothers.  It is sure to catch some grief from parents around the country.

Personally, I don't like Marilyn Mason as a performer.  And his image is more than a bit disturbing.  But I do like him as a writer, and do recognise that he is extremely intelligent.  I think this will translate well to film.  Because of this I think that this might be very interesting.

No word yet on when it is supposed to start filming.
