Fox's new reality-TV series, Temptation Island, is not exactly what one would call "moral" or "in good taste" or "ethical." But what can you expect from the network that brought you Who Wants To Marry A Multi-Millionaire?

Temptation Island is a series that has four unmarried couples go to an island filled with gorgeous, infidelity friendly single people that are there for one purpose: to try and get the couples to break up. The goal is to see which couple(s), if any can resist the temptation to wander from their committed relationship.

Well, one of the requirements is that the couple is to be unmarried and without children. Unfortunately for Fox, and one of the couples, this is not the case, and it was unknown until 5 days into the shoot. One of the unmarried couples, which is unknown at this point, has a child, and the producers of the show booted them from the program.

The show has brought much controversy, and Fox has been asked to cancel the show before it even airs because of its ethical issues. I think this is personally a new low for the network. After the screw up with Rick Rockwell on their Who Wants To Marry... show (remember his ex-fiance's restraining order against him?), and now this, it's clear that Fox is so desparate for an idea, and so in need to get a show out quickly, that they overlook the backgrounds of the castmembers they choose.

Hopefully, Fox will can the show, as it's a disgrace and potentially harmful to a relationship of the couples sent to the island. But that's just my opinion...

If you've already sniffed some of the Reality-TV crack, and need your next hit, check out The Mole on ABC. It aired for the first time last night, and judging by the first episode, it seems pretty promising.
