Trailer for Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream

Ewan McGregor and Colin Farrell in CASSANDRA'S DREAM
Did anyone else besides me completely not realize until 10 minutes ago that Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream opens across the USA on January 18? I'm no marketing expert, but my gut tells me this film has been badly hyped, especially considering it stars both the endlessly charismatic Ewan McGregor and the lame but popular Colin Farrell. Click through for the trailer.

Trailer for the The Other Boleyn Girl

Scarlett grooms Natalie in THE OTHER BOLEYN GIRL
After viewing yesterday one of the better trailers in recent memory?Pixar's WALL-E?today I stumbled across one of the lamer ones. Based on Phillipa Gregory's hugely popular novel,  Sony's ponderously titled The Other Boleyn Girl is loaded with cymbal-crashing music, women in corsets, and majestic castles. It also does that thing bad trailers do where they try to tell the film's entire story in two minutes. Click through for the trailer.

Full-length trailer for Pixar's WALL·E

A shot from Pixar's latest Wall-E trailer
Have to say, the latest trailer for Pixar's next release, WALL-E, is one of the better trailers I've seen in a while. We've already reported the animation looks amazing on this June 2008 release directed by Andrew Stanton (whose last major credit is writer/director of Finding Nemo), but this trailer gives a glimpse of just how amazing. Dig the music too, as well as the trailer's mini-arc of a narrative, showing you a masterfully edited glimpse of the friendly little robot's mundane existence in a barren, post-apocalyptic wasteland before an alien spacecraft comes down to take him away. Sorta wish the thing didn't look so Johnny 5-ish, but otherwise consider me intrigued.

The Cover of Kevin Smith's September 2007 book release, My Boring Ass-Life
For Christmas my brother gave me a copy of Kevin Smith's book, My Boring-Ass Life. I dislike Smith's films, but enjoy his ramblings in public settings, like colleges and the aforementioned blog.

New Harold & Kumar 2 Trailer!

Harold and Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay trailer
There is a new trailer for Harold & Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay making its way around the internet, and I for one am pretty excited. John Cho and Kal Penn are one of the greatest dimwitted duos to come along since Shaggy and Scooby, and that's a serious compliment coming from someone who only recently gave up his Mystery Machine briefs, which were my lucky underwear since 1986. I just hope they're not trying too hard with H&K 2. Click through for the trailer.

The Ruins Trailer: Lost Fans Relief For Season 3?

The Ruins Trailer
In what appears to be an attempt to grab those Lost fans left on a cliff at the end of Season 3, DreamWorks will be putting out the film version of THE RUINS,  it's a story that follows a familiar format: kids on vacation, who drink some booze, make out a little, then do something they shouldn't, and then start wishing they didn't!
