 The alt-oscars have announced their nominees for the 2004 year in partially-independent-to-actually-independent filmmaking. ?It is nice, though, to see flicks like Primer and Before Sunset and Baadassss some free marketing. ?The awards will be televised on February 26th, on Bravo.

Themoviebox.net has posted the first look at the ridiculously delayed, retooled, reshot, and heavily rewritten while shooting (so much so they stopped shooting for months), Cursed. ?Think Scream with werewolves. ?Cursed was written by Kevin Williamson (the Screams, Dawsons Creek, etc). ?Ugh.
