Sam Jackson Will Be AFROSAMURAI! Samuel L. Jackson has agreed to produce and star in a live action version of the Japanese manga cartoon, Afrosamurai, created by Takashi Okazaki. The story follows an Afrosamurai roaming the country in search of his father's killer. The film is set to go into production next winter or spring. No word on who will direct. USA Today Visits THE PRODUCERS Set You might have known, or might have guessed, that a film version of the audience pleasing musical (based on Mel Brook's 1968 film) was already in production. Matthew Broderick and Nathan Lane star, Uma Thurman and Will Ferrell costar in the film which was shot entirely on sound stages in New York city last spring. X-MEN 3's KITTY PRYDE Has Been Cast!  Bret "Bitch" Ratner has cast little known actress, Ellen Page in the role of Kitty Pryde in X-Men 3. ?The Pryde role was to supposed to have gone to Lost's Maggie Grace, but Ratner put a stop that good idea before it became a reality. X-Men 3 has been shooting in Vancouver and San Francisco over the past week and geeks believe that means a teaser trailer for the Thanksgiving holiday season is in the works.
