Val Kilmer needs a hit, Robert Downey Jr. needs to stay clean, why not put them in a buddy action comedy about buddy action comedies? Shane Black (Lethal Weapons, Last Boyscout, Long Kiss Goodnight), an overpaid buddy action comedy screenwriter from the eighties and nineties directs. It's a flick about a criminal prentending to be an actor playing a criminal partnered with a cop.

Bad FOUR BROTHERS Wins Stupid Weekend

Are you less smart than last summer? ?The box office numbers hints that you indeed are. ?Four Brothers, a seriously dumb-looking film about dim-witted brothers avenging their mama's death in the name of family values won the weekend, pulling in $20 million. ?On the positive tip, Deuce Bigelow did poorly, Dukes of Hazzard slipped quite a bit, and Fantastic Four is nowhere to be found on the top ten.
