Aintitcool.com scored the early sneaks (if anyone out there has seen an early review of anything recently, feel free to email us reviews too, damnit). Richard Linklater (Waking Life, School of Rock), has almost finished work on his 2nd, rotoscopically animated flick, A Scanner Darkly, and the studio suits felt like a preview. Click over for two reviews; one solid, one solid but bitchy.

Bloodrayne, the videogame that is now going to be a bad movie, has a trailer. ?It's like Red Sonja (oh so bad Arnie & Brigette Nielson flick) is back from the eighties to seek revenge on the idiot studio she tricked into putting her likeness back on film. Ben Kingsley (whaa?), Michael Madsen, Michelle Rodriques, Meatloaf (not Meatloaf! He's tooo good for this!) and Kristana Loken (T-3, the Terminatrix) star.

AICN has the exclusive first look at the new teaser poster from Peter Jackson's upcoming epic "King Kong." Sure, it's technically a teaser, but it's not teasing us with anything we haven't seen before. I still think they may have shown us a little too much too early on this one.

Come check out trailers for two upcoming films from the Weinstein Company. "Transamerica" stars Felicity Huffman and Kevin Zegers in a tale of what it takes to be transexual in America. "The Matador" stars Pierce Brosnan and Greg Kinnear as a non-traditional odd couple--Brosnan the hitman and Kinnear the salesman--who meet up one fateful day. Both seem like interesting dark comedies. Come see for yourself!

Giddy up, Lost-ites. Darren Aronofsfy (dir. Pi, Requiem for a Dream, and the upcoming, The Fountain) has been asked to direct an episode for the May sweeps period. Apparently Aronofsky is a fan. But what about The Fountain (sci-fi time travel flick with Hugh Jackman), damnit, when are we going to see that?

So some of us were a bit turned off by War of the Worlds (maybe six months of hype took its toll on the actual experience of viewing the entire film). Well, what are you gonna do? ?Spielberg goes back to work and stays unimaginably rich and we're out 7 to 9 bucks. ?Here's the first poster for this Christmas' Munich, a film about the hostage crisis that happened during the '72 olympics.
