2006 SUPERBOWL: New Ads, Trailers Online  At $32,000 a fucking second (no shit), these ads better be made of butter. So far, we have new trailers for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead's Man Chest (or POTC 2, as we call it around the D office), a new V For Vendetta teaser, a Mission Impossible 3 behind the scenes featurette and new teaser trailer, and new trailer for Pixar's Cars, Adam Sandler's Click, Benchwarmers, and Paul Walker's, Running Scared. Here's a new-ish way of promoting a flick that people weren't going to see when it opens this summer, put some of it's nude scenes online early. SCARY MOVIE 4 Trailer Unfunny, Bad It's bad. ?Everyone knows these movies aren't funny. ? Super Sexy BETTIE PAGE Trailer Online! Updated with a photo and a poster! Ooh la la! There's a new trailer on the Web for "The Notorious Bettie Page," which tells the story of the 1950's pin-up who had men drooling. The film stars Gretchen Mol as Page, with a supporting cast that includes David Strathairn and Lili Taylor. TARTAKOVSKY On For DARK CRYSTAL Sequel! Genndy Tartakovsky, director of the animated Clone Wars mini-mini-series for the Cartoon Network has signed on to direct The Power of the Dark Crystal, a sequel to The Dark Crystal (1982), a Jim Henson Studios, puppet Disney flick. ?Henson Studios (now run by Jim's son) will produce along side Tartakovsky's Orphanage Animation Studios. 1 Feb, 2006 - 6:15 AM |

Yep. ?Here they are. ?Philip Seymour Hoffman is a damn lock for Best Actor, Reese Witherspoon will most likely win for Best Actress, and Brokeback will probably take home Best Picture. ?It's a shame Munich got so many nominations, good films should be nominated, not films people think should have been good. ?Jon Stewart will host the telecast on March 5th. Just Jared has set pics from a studio shoot featuring Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane. ?Looks as if Mary Jane is participating in an awards show or is acting in another play on Broadway.
