1st TEXAS CHAINSAW Prequel, WICKER MAN Trailers Are Ok-ish!  The new Texas Chainsaw bullshit is produced by poet-warrior Michael Bay (who produced the remake) and is a prequel (it's like that word didn't exist until Lucas gave it to us. ?The prequel's one good asset, Jordana Brewster. The Wicker Man, a remake of the '73 flick that starred Christopher Lee, now stars Nicolas Cage, Leelee Sobieski, and Ellen Burstyn and is directed by Neil LaBute (Your Friends & Neighbors, Nurse Betty). Jack Black, Scarlett Johanson, Hugh Jackman, Steve Carell, Sean Penn, Woody Allen, Kate Winslet, Robin Williams, and Cameron Diaz are all in these new trailers for flicks opening this Fall. ?Scarlett, Hugh, and Woody are in Scoop; Black, Winslet, and Diaz are in The Holiday; and Sean Penn, Jude Law, and Winslet are in the much-delayed, All the King's Men. ?Robin Williams stars in the Sundance-friendly The Night Listener, and Steve Carell co-stars with Toni Collette, Greg Kinear, and Alan Arkin in Little Miss Sunshine (check this one out). MICHAEL BAY Opens Blog, Talks TRANSFORMERS If this is Michael Bay (dir. Pearl Harbor, The Rock, Bad Boys, The Island), maybe he's trying to open up to us (the people that get angry sometimes 'cause his movies are so bad). ?Bay writes on his blog (dated 5/28), "I just hope people don't spoil it for people hearing everything in the movie before they see the movie - that's so lame." NEO Vs. ROBOCOP Geek VIDEO Mash-Up Online  Video mash-ups are still the new song mash-ups if you ask us. We love fan edits too. Here some guy edits Robocop into the final gun-down from The Matrix. Neo and RC appear together, shootin' it out in a green-hued universe. Cool tricks.
