BATTLESTAR GALACTICA Prequel Series CAPRICA?!

In an article about the growing success of the geek crossover (attracting more than just geeks) series, work on a BSG prequel series is mentioned as being in development and poised to debut sometime next year. ?The series will be called "Caprica" and will take place sometime before the attacks depicted in the current series. 28 Days Later Sequel, 28 WEEKS LATER Footage

It supposedly has a script somewhat written by or approved by the original's creators, Alex Garland (wr) and Danny Boyle (dir), 28 Weeks Later is almost finished with principal photography.
